On November 22, 2025, the National Assembly’s Committee on Legal and Judicial Affairs organiSed the workshop “Key Issues of the SpecialiSed Court Bill for the International Financial Center,” with the participation of numerous delegates, legal experts, chief justices, and lawyers to discuss the major aspects of this proposed model. At the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Manh Dzung was honored to be invited as an expert, presenting on Principles of the Common Law System in Resolving Disputes Arising Within an International Financial Center – The Position and Role of Judges, Lawyers, Litigants, and Procedural Processes in a Specialised Court.

Continuing his proactive contributions during the proposal development phase, Mr. Dzung offered insights and perspectives on applying common law within the Specialised Court model, a dispute resolution mechanism unprecedented in Vietnam. He also emphasised the role and position of Judges and Lawyers, particularly foreign judges and foreign counsel participating in the litigation process. At the same time, he highlighted certain procedural distinctions between a Specialised Court and the traditional court system, such as the application of governing law, proving foreign law, and various evidentiary matters.

With the continued efforts of the competent authorities and the support of domestic and international experts, it is hoped that the International Financial Center will establish a Specialised Court model that operates effectively, aligns with Vietnam’s realities, meets international standards, and enhances the country's attractiveness to global investors.
